EMERALDS uses advanced technologies including AI, Big Data, edge/fog/cloud computing to bring unprecedented resolution on spatiotemporal data analytics, thus providing urban mobility operators and planners with advanced solutions for extreme-scale mobility data analytics tools and services. These outcomes can assist in evaluating with unprecedented detail prospective or existing transport infrastructure, infer which mobility modes can enhance service quality in transport networks while delivering trip demand, event occurrence, smart routing, and traffic congestion predictions with improved accuracy, thus accelerating and exploiting the impact of EU policies to deal with climate change.
Eviden contributes to the project with an Artificial Intelligence as a Service (AIaaS) platform tailored to the requirements of mobility use cases, will follow the emerging MLOps paradigm to allow creating of end-to-end pipelines and workflows for the automation and industrialisation of ML models, guaranteeing reproducibility, transparency and trustworthiness as required by the emerging “AI Act”. In addition, ATOS will be able to improve the capabilities of its AI platforms in order to address relevant use cases of the mobility vertical.
